I knew that for me, solo travelers, the hotel's in Dubai are rather expensive, I wanted to choose a budget, but in a good location. That's why I landed at the Dream Palace Hotel in Dubai. The single room was out the back, on the 5th floor and I was more than happy. The airport is relatively close and you can hear the aircraft noise, but I helped out with ear plugs and so I was able to sleep well until late in the morning. The breakfast was simple but with all the important things and otherwise there were several possibilities in the nearest shopping malls. The food courts in this city, I can highly recommend anyway. I really liked the location as well as the simplicity and cleanliness. I would book it again and can recommend it. I prefer to spend less on sleeping and more on activity and good food ... WiFi / Wi-Fi was free but only worked sporadically.
